Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Selami Uluç started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Selami Uluç came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Düzce fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Selami Uluç couldn't finish the play. After 17 played minutes Düzce got a freekick which was hit by Tayfur Ciner. With a little luck, Düzce's Fuat Oksar got control of the ball when Oktay Semi tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alphan Umurbay got free with Fuat Oksar in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 28 minutes, İzzet Taçkın managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Afyonkarahisar JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but İzzet Taçkın was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Düzce's Olcay Tanpınar got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 33 minutes into the match, Afyonkarahisar JK's İzzet Taçkın sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fuat Oksar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Tayfur Ciner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aybars Tura came out of the goal and Tayfur Ciner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for İzzet Taçkın to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Düzce booed when Afyonkarahisar JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. İzzet Taçkın didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fuat Oksar came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Afyonkarahisar JK's Savaşer Laçin. But to his dismay, Savaşer Laçin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. İzzet Taçkın received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. In the 94th minute, Tayfur Ciner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alphan Umurbay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Fuat Oksar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Afyonkarahisar JK were victorious despite being under pressure from Düzce for much of the match.
