Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kaptan Özerhan took the kick off in the first half of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Düzce's goal looked a bit too open when Okanalp Uluöz came free, but Fuat Oksar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Düzce's Fuat Oksar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Okanalp Uluöz in the 10th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kaptan Özerhan in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fuat Oksar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 13 minutes into the game, Tayfur Ciner was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Düzce's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trabzonspor the free kick. The supporters of Trabzonspor booed when Düzce was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tayfur Ciner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Şansal Pala recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th minute, Şansal Pala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Şansal Pala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fuat Oksar having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Okanalp Uluöz in the 22nd minute of play forced Düzce's goalkeeper Fuat Oksar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 24 minutes, Selami Uluç mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Düzce and the Trabzonspor players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 24th minute, Selami Uluç hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kurtuluş Olgunsoy's late challenge caught a Trabzonspor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kurtuluş Olgunsoy helped the player get up and apologised. 34 minutes into the game, one of Düzce:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Necmi Adak placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Kaptan Özerhan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trabzonspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Kaptan Özerhan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fuat Oksar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Düzce players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Trabzonspor were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Selami Uluç made the kick off in the second half. If Şansal Pala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute, Okanalp Uluöz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Okanalp Uluöz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Fuat Oksar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Düzce's zone, Okanalp Uluöz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fuat Oksar came out of the goal and Okanalp Uluöz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kaptan Özerhan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fuat Oksar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Okanalp Uluöz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tayfur Ciner kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Kaptan Özerhan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Fuat Oksar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 82nd minute, Kaptan Özerhan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fuat Oksar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Okanalp Uluöz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fuat Oksar having to make a save. 89 minutes into the match, Düzce's goalkeeper Fuat Oksar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kaptan Özerhan. Okanalp Uluöz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fuat Oksar having to interfere. Kaptan Özerhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match was over Trabzonspor could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Düzce throughout the match.
