The referee ignored Trabzon's protests and gave Azmi Canberk a yellow card for diving instead. After 46 played minutes Trabzon got a freekick which was hit by Azmi Canberk. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Armağan Oyum to make the kick off. The supporters of Gümüshane JK booed when Trabzon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Azmi Canberk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Trabzon were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
