Spectators: 6660 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ekrem Ahmetoğlu started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, Sebat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ömer Rıza Akoğul to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the match, Tophane's goalkeeper Kılıçhan Tanaydin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahmet Nedim Ergüner. Kılıçhan Tanaydin acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 16th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Özbek Balamir. In the 18th minute, Ekrem Ahmetoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kılıçhan Tanaydin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ekrem Ahmetoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mehdi Rafettin struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Mustafa Cumhur Akçabay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tophane. Hüseyin Cahit Evliya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Cumhur Akçabay having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Sebat's Kılıçhan Tanaydin threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ekrem Ahmetoğlu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Hüseyin Cahit Evliya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Mustafa Cumhur Akçabay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Tophane booed when Sebat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efekan Hüryaşar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute, Mehdi Rafettin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tophane fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mehdi Rafettin to strike the kick off in the second half. Mustafa Cumhur Akçabay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hüseyin Cahit Evliya in the 54th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Tophane's zone, Ahmet Nedim Ergüner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kılıçhan Tanaydin came out of the goal and Ahmet Nedim Ergüner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 68th match minute, Sebat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yetkin Tardu to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes into the match, Tophane's goal looked a bit too open when Ekrem Ahmetoğlu came free, but Kılıçhan Tanaydin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Ardahan Şevki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 79 played minutes Tophane got a freekick which was hit by Hüsnü Genç. Ahmet Nedim Ergüner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mehdi Rafettin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mustafa Cumhur Akçabay came out and tried to block the shot, but Mehdi Rafettin slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 91st minute. 96 minutes into the match, Tophane's goal looked a bit too open when Ekrem Ahmetoğlu came free, but Kılıçhan Tanaydin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Sebat manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Tophane to win.
