Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Göktürk Özerol kicked off to start the match. If Şevket Torkal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 6th minute, Varol Başbuğoğlu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Maltepe JK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. When Göktürk Özerol came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Maltepe JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Göktürk Özerol couldn't finish the play. Baybora Bilgin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Göktürk Özerol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 23 minutes, Baran Bilge Ayıkoğlu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maltepe JK and the Dogansehir SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Maltepe JK getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Baran Bilge Ayıkoğlu hit a great ball. In the 26th minute, Dogansehir SK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Varol Başbuğoğlu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Buğra Sanih made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Süreyya Akbilge in the 28th minute of play. Baybora Bilgin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Varol Başbuğoğlu in the 35th minute. After 38 minutes of play, Maltepe JK's Varol Başbuğoğlu made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baybora Bilgin was left in no man's land by his defense there! 42 minutes into the game, Dogansehir SK's Süreyya Akbilge nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Buğra Sanih made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Baybora Bilgin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Göktürk Özerol in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Süreyya Akbilge made the kick off in the second half. If Süreyya Akbilge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 57 played minutes Maltepe JK got a freekick which was hit by Baran Bilge Ayıkoğlu. Süreyya Akbilge got in the 59th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Buğra Sanih handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Mesut Uraltay charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mesut Uraltay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 61 played minutes Dogansehir SK got a freekick which was hit by Mesut Uraltay. Mecnun Coşan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Baybora Bilgin. Dogansehir SK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Göktürk Özerol scored 3-1 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baybora Bilgin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Varol Başbuğoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Baybora Bilgin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baybora Bilgin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Göktürk Özerol, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Baybora Bilgin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Göktürk Özerol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Dogansehir SK getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Enginalp Samil hit a great ball. When Maltepe JK's Göktürk Özerol in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dogansehir SK's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Maltepe JK booed when Dogansehir SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enginalp Samil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baybora Bilgin came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Maltepe JK's Varol Başbuğoğlu. But to his dismay, Varol Başbuğoğlu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. There was no doubt that Maltepe JK were the better team. Maltepe JK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
