After a rather tough play, Vardar's Hazar Polatkan got a free kick in the 11th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Vardar's goal looked a bit too open when Rahim Uygur came free, but Aycan Yorgun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hakan Çırak charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hakan Çırak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Beşiktaş JK's Hakan Çırak got a free kick in the 15th minute. Beşiktaş JK's Cemal Hakim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vahdet Cinel in the 17th minute of play. Cemal Hakim made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Asrın Şerif sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 21 minutes, Rahim Uygur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beşiktaş JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rahim Uygur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aycan Yorgun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erdem Umay in the 25th minute of the match. Cemal Hakim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Asrın Şerif in the 26th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Vardar's Aycan Yorgun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Vardar from getting a goal against them. After 55 minutes, Muharrem Türev mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vardar and the Beşiktaş JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Beşiktaş JK booed when Vardar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Muharrem Türev didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Beşiktaş JK getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Behlül İzgü hit a great ball. Cemal Hakim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Kağan Saffet in the 65th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Vardar's zone, Dursun Ali Köker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aycan Yorgun came out of the goal and Dursun Ali Köker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 72 played minutes Vardar got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Kağan Saffet. Feyyaz Malgır received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Aycan Yorgun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aycan Yorgun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rahim Uygur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Erdem Umay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beşiktaş JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Erdem Umay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aycan Yorgun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rahim Uygur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dursun Ali Köker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Beşiktaş JK were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
