An unexpectedly hard shot by Enginsu Akkılıç in the 11th minute of play forced Devrek JK's goalkeeper Suat Mutlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Suat Mutlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enginsu Akkılıç in the 13th minute of the match. When Emirşah Balıkçıoğlu came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Fenerbahçe S.K. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emirşah Balıkçıoğlu couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Fenerbahçe S.K.'s Enginsu Akkılıç slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Suat Mutlu. That made the score 1-0 after 17 minutes of play. Devrek JK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Enginsu Akkılıç scored to the left of an out of position Suat Mutlu, making the score, 2-0. Enginsu Akkılıç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Suat Mutlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Emirşah Balıkçıoğlu came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Fenerbahçe S.K. fans jumped to their feet. Devrek JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fenerbahçe S.K. the free kick. Lütfi Tuğalp's late challenge caught a Devrek JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lütfi Tuğalp helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 30th minute of the game. One of Fenerbahçe S.K.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Devrek JK:s goal. Enginsu Akkılıç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Suat Mutlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute Ufuk Kelami shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gencal Kuvvet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ufuk Kelami to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Uğurcan Gündeş ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gencal Kuvvet was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 59th minute, Bektaş Ali Tankut got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emirşah Balıkçıoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Suat Mutlu having to interfere. Enginsu Akkılıç's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Suat Mutlu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Umur Zeynel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Suat Mutlu having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Enginsu Akkılıç had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Suat Mutlu. Devrek JK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enginsu Akkılıç was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. If Enginsu Akkılıç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lütfi Tuğalp kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ufuk Kelami in the 78th minute of play forced Fenerbahçe S.K.'s goalkeeper Gencal Kuvvet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Fenerbahçe S.K.'s goalkeeper Gencal Kuvvet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alpertunga Çubukcu. Suat Mutlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enginsu Akkılıç in the 80th minute of play. Suat Mutlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enginsu Akkılıç, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. If Umur Zeynel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enginsu Akkılıç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Suat Mutlu having to interfere. Enginsu Akkılıç might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Suat Mutlu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Enginsu Akkılıç ran back to his position shaking his head. There was no doubt that Fenerbahçe S.K. were the better team. Fenerbahçe S.K.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
