Spectators: 6722 (Terracing: 5472, Seating: 1250, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rahim Uygur kicked off to start the match. Umur Zeynel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cemal Hakim having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Enginsu Akkılıç managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fenerbahçe S.K.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Enginsu Akkılıç was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cemal Hakim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 15 minutes, Beyhan Sayfi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Beşiktaş JK and the Fenerbahçe S.K. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fenerbahçe S.K.'s Umur Zeynel got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cemal Hakim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emirşah Balıkçıoğlu in the 22nd minute of the match. Cemal Hakim came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Fenerbahçe S.K.'s Emirşah Balıkçıoğlu. But to his dismay, Emirşah Balıkçıoğlu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 27 played minutes Fenerbahçe S.K. got a freekick which was hit by Tuncay Acunalp. If Enginsu Akkılıç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fenerbahçe S.K.'s Enginsu Akkılıç got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Emirşah Balıkçıoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the game, Fenerbahçe S.K.'s Umur Zeynel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cemal Hakim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 46th minute, Umur Zeynel fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Enginsu Akkılıç made a kick off. Cemal Hakim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Umur Zeynel in the 52nd minute of play. When Umur Zeynel came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Fenerbahçe S.K. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Umur Zeynel couldn't finish the play. Enginsu Akkılıç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Cemal Hakim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fenerbahçe S.K.'s Emirşah Balıkçıoğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erdem Umay hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Fenerbahçe S.K.'s Umur Zeynel got a free kick in the 86th minute. If Emirşah Balıkçıoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fenerbahçe S.K.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
