Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mustafa Haydar Özsel got the match started through his kick off. Ramiz Çinuçin charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ramiz Çinuçin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 10 played minutes, GÖZTEPE FK's Ali Orhan Süreyya shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sarper Oğuzer came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in GÖZTEPE FK reached it. When Mustafa Haydar Özsel, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 17 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Sarper Oğuzer was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Ramiz Çinuçin kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. GÖZTEPE FK's Sabahattin Koyak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save GÖZTEPE FK from getting a goal against them. In the 30th minute, SARIÇEVRE's Haluk Özgebay ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sabahattin Koyak. Sabahattin Koyak yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. SARIÇEVRE's Sarper Oğuzer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Emin Erkılıç in the 36th minute of play. Sarper Oğuzer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Okan İbrahimoğlu in the 41st minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Haluk Özgebay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sarper Oğuzer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mustafa Haydar Özsel, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Sarper Oğuzer came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by GÖZTEPE FK's Mustafa Haydar Özsel. But to his dismay, Mustafa Haydar Özsel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Okan İbrahimoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Sarper Oğuzer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Okan İbrahimoğlu in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sarper Oğuzer, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. GÖZTEPE FK's Sabahattin Koyak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haluk Özgebay in the 62nd minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Mehmet Emin Erkılıç hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Okan İbrahimoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the game, SARIÇEVRE's Haluk Özgebay nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sabahattin Koyak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. 74 minutes into the game, Mustafa Haydar Özsel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sarper Oğuzer. Mustafa Haydar Özsel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. If Okan İbrahimoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the match, SARIÇEVRE's goalkeeper Sarper Oğuzer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Okan İbrahimoğlu. GÖZTEPE FK's Yılmaz Bayrak managed to work through SARIÇEVRE's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Yılmaz Bayrak dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa Haydar Özsel in the 89th minute of play forced SARIÇEVRE's goalkeeper Sarper Oğuzer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Okan İbrahimoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The SARIÇEVRE supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching GÖZTEPE FK's performance. The match ended with a win for GÖZTEPE FK.
