Dinçer İçten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İsmail Orhun Zihni having to interfere. In the 18thth minute of the game Baysal Kocaker who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zonguldak SK's Gani Özaktuğ was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Zonguldak SK booed when Agacören was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Babür Ilgın didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gani Özaktuğ was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Baysal Kocaker capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Baysal Kocaker really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The Agacören fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Agacören's Caner Uzman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Caner Uzman came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Agacören fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Caner Uzman couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Melih Cevdet Ceri during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 36th match minute, Zonguldak SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melih Cevdet Ceri to maneuver through the defense. Kasım Seyban was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 37th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. İsmail Hıfzullah kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Baysal Kocaker made a kick off. Gani Özaktuğ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İsmail Hıfzullah in the 54th minute of play. The supporters of Agacören booed when Zonguldak SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melih Cevdet Ceri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kasım Seyban, 60 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Zonguldak SK's Gani Özaktuğ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caner Uzman in the 69th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Zonguldak SK's goal looked a bit too open when Caner Uzman came free, but Gani Özaktuğ reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gani Özaktuğ showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baysal Kocaker, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Gani Özaktuğ stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baysal Kocaker's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baysal Kocaker in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gani Özaktuğ prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
