Kadri Bilek's late challenge caught a Zonguldakspor FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Toköz couldn't finish the play. Atabey Karadeniz struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Atahan Özkutlu kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Zonguldakspor FK's Ali Tacik suffered a concussion in the 21st minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. After 21 minutes of play Davutpasa's Balaban Erandaç was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 23rd match minute, Davutpasa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Balaban Erandaç to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the match, Zonguldakspor FK's İsmet Saatçioğlu broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Güven Energin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zonguldakspor FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdullatif İğdemir was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Osman Ali Suersan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Battal Seyyit Talu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd minute, Battal Seyyit Talu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Güven Energin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, Ahmet Toköz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the Zonguldakspor FK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Davutpasa.
