Persembe's Yalçın Bayazid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hakkı Onur Ersal in the 44th minute of play. Hakkı Onur Ersal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ahmet Ömür Turbay to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Mustafa Haydar Okseven was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Izmir fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5.
