Cihan Okanay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yetkin Sadir, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. After some careless play in the Esenler defense, Yetkin Sadir kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cihan Okanay. The Esenler fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cihan Okanay should have stopped the shot. Latif Yılhan lost his temper 9 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 9th minute of the game. One of Sinop JK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Esenler:s goal. Ali Atıf Yılkan walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Aytekin Lut charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aytekin Lut the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Sinop JK's Emirşah Şevket got a free kick in the 25th minute. Gündüz Orguntay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilvan Marinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. If Gilvan Marinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the last second Gündüz Orguntay throw himself and got hold of the ball when Yağız Nadir in the 38thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After 39 minutes of play, Sinop JK's Yetkin Sadir made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cihan Okanay was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sinop JK's Gündüz Orguntay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yağız Nadir in the 44th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Yetkin Sadir managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sinop JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Yetkin Sadir was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cihan Okanay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Yağız Nadir made the kick off in the second half. If Yağız Nadir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Yetkin Sadir could shoot a difficult shot in the 59th minute, which Cihan Okanay however easily saved by the left post. Gilvan Marinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gündüz Orguntay having to interfere. A collision led to Esenler getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Zigor Chavchavadze hit a great ball. Yetkin Sadir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gündüz Orguntay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yağız Nadir in the 69th minute of the match. Gündüz Orguntay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yağız Nadir in the 74th minute of play. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Gilvan Marinho sped through Sinop JK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gündüz Orguntay. Yağız Nadir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gündüz Orguntay having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Gilvan Marinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gündüz Orguntay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yağız Nadir in the 92nd minute of the match. Cihan Okanay was a little too slow when Yetkin Sadir got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 1-3. Sinop JK were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Esenler's much stronger midfield.
