After a defensive mix-up in Rumelikavagi SK's zone, Berker Rıza Özsungur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Korkut Çelebioğlu came out of the goal and Berker Rıza Özsungur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 4 played minutes MOS SK got a freekick which was hit by Tekin Sayyad. 6 minutes into the match, Mustafa Emre Özdal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Korkut Çelebioğlu. Rumelikavagi SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mustafa Emre Özdal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. If Özgün Mert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute Mustafa Emre Özdal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Korkut Çelebioğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MOS SK's Rıfat Alan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Özgün Mert in the 26th minute of play. After 27 minutes, Kutlay İlhan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MOS SK and the Rumelikavagi SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 27th match minute, MOS SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kutlay İlhan to maneuver through the defense. Ensar Akbal charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ensar Akbal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 36th minute, Ensar Akbal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 37 played minutes, Rumelikavagi SK's Oğuzhan Vecdet shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rıfat Alan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rumelikavagi SK reached it.

The wind increased when Özgün Mert made the kick off in the second half. Ensar Akbal hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Oğuzhan Vecdet, 54 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 56 minutes into the match, MOS SK's goalkeeper Rıfat Alan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kerimhan Ortaçgil. In the 57th minute, Mustafa Ekrem Şavat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mustafa Emre Özdal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Berker Rıza Özsungur's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Korkut Çelebioğlu was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. After 65 minutes, Oğuzhan Vecdet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rumelikavagi SK and the MOS SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. 64 minutes into the game, one of Rumelikavagi SK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The shot was stopped by Rıfat Alan but with some difficulty. 71 minutes into the game, Kerimhan Ortaçgil cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Rıfat Alan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 74th minute, Rumelikavagi SK's Özgün Mert ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rıfat Alan. Rıfat Alan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. Bora Han Akdoğan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Rıfat Alan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Özgün Mert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the match, MOS SK's goal looked a bit too open when Özgün Mert came free, but Rıfat Alan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Korkut Çelebioğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mustafa Ekrem Şavat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Berker Rıza Özsungur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Rumelikavagi SK getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Ecevit Paşa hit a great ball.
