Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Beyoglu's Oğuz Vargın started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 14th minute, QuaresmaSpor's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Atabey Balkanlıoğlu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Atabey Balkanlıoğlu got free with Alphan Yöntem in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Özal Balatekin came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Beyoglu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Özal Balatekin couldn't finish the play. Alphan Yöntem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oğuz Vargın in the 25th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Emre Okatay took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Alphan Yöntem to make any attempt to save it. Beyoglu's Nuri Ruşen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gürkan Topel in the 33rd minute of play. If Zeynel Soytekin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Beyoglu's Baycan Rıfkı got a free kick in the 45th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zeynel Soytekin to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oğuz Vargın in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alphan Yöntem prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alphan Yöntem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oğuz Vargın, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atabey Balkanlıoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Atabey Balkanlıoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alphan Yöntem having to interfere. Alphan Yöntem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atabey Balkanlıoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77thth minute of the game Oğuz Vargın who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but QuaresmaSpor's Alphan Yöntem was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gürkan Topel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuri Ruşen having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Zeynel Soytekin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nuri Ruşen. That made the score 1-1 in the 84 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rıfat Türcan during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rıfat Türcan kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, QuaresmaSpor's goal looked a bit too open when Atabey Balkanlıoğlu came free, but Alphan Yöntem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
