In the 8thth minute of the game Atabey Balkanlıoğlu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VAKFIKEBİR FK's 武树然 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 10th minute, Özal Balatekin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Demiralp Tuğra did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Nuri Ruşen 17 minutes into the match. 武树然 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oğuz Vargın, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Thanks to some nice moves İzzettin Ekici could shoot a difficult shot in the 26th minute, which Nuri Ruşen however easily saved by the left post. In the 27th minute, Oğuz Vargın made a precise shot to the right of 武树然. VAKFIKEBİR FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oğuz Vargın in the 34th minute of play forced VAKFIKEBİR FK's goalkeeper 武树然 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of VAKFIKEBİR FK booed when Beyoglu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Özal Balatekin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute, one of VAKFIKEBİR FK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for VAKFIKEBİR FK. Levent Yatuk shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 47th minute, İzzettin Ekici left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VAKFIKEBİR FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Demiralp Tuğra to make the kick off. 武树然 made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Atabey Balkanlıoğlu sent off a good shot on target. Haluk Tecer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nuri Ruşen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Beyoglu's Atabey Balkanlıoğlu came free and shot a quick shot against goal 67 minutes in the game, fortunately 武树然 had problems saving as it came toward the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Beyoglu's zone, İzzettin Ekici stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nuri Ruşen came out of the goal and İzzettin Ekici tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Beyoglu getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Özal Balatekin hit a great ball. Oğuz Vargın recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 76th minute, Şenol Güneş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute of the match, Oğuz Vargın tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but 武树然 saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Demiralp Tuğra came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the VAKFIKEBİR FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Demiralp Tuğra couldn't finish the play. İzzettin Ekici fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuri Ruşen having to interfere. VAKFIKEBİR FK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
