The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Yenipazar:s Ataol Sarı showed great skill when he stopped Pars Elçioğlu:s penalty. In the 7th minute, Sabahattin Tuğkun made a precise shot to the right of Ataol Sarı. Yenipazar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Sabahattin Tuğkun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ataol Sarı having to interfere. Burhanettin Başol took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aybek Yoruç. Aybek Yoruç dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sabahattin Tuğkun in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ataol Sarı prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yenipazar's Ataol Sarı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cevher Bozkaya in the 16th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Sabahattin Tuğkun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ataol Sarı was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabahattin Tuğkun in the 22nd minute of play forced Yenipazar's goalkeeper Ataol Sarı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cevher Bozkaya blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ataol Sarı having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabahattin Tuğkun in the 30th minute of play forced Yenipazar's goalkeeper Ataol Sarı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Sabahattin Tuğkun, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 33 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Ataol Sarı was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 41 minutes into the game, Rıza Gökalp was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yenipazar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GALATASARAY the free kick. After 41 played minutes Yenipazar got a freekick which was hit by Rıza Gökalp. Sabahattin Tuğkun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ataol Sarı having to interfere. Yenipazar's Rıza Gökalp got his second yellow card of the match in the 48th minute. The referee ordered Rıza Gökalp off the ground. Rıza Gökalp kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Burhanettin Başol to strike the kick off in the second half. Burhanettin Başol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aybek Yoruç having to interfere. Atak Ayvaz kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. If Sabahattin Tuğkun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the game, GALATASARAY's Sabahattin Tuğkun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ataol Sarı made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Sabahattin Tuğkun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Yenipazar getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Burhanettin Başol hit a great ball. Sabahattin Tuğkun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. GALATASARAY's Aybek Yoruç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Burhanettin Başol in the 85th minute of play. If Cevher Bozkaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sabahattin Tuğkun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Ataol Sarı made a huge save. In the 89th minute, Pars Elçioğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Burhanettin Başol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Necaettin Tatar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. GALATASARAY's Aybek Yoruç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Burhanettin Başol in the 97th minute of play. Aybek Yoruç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Burhanettin Başol, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. When the final whistle sounded GALATASARAY left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Yenipazar.
