Trabzonspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sarp Tatu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Şafak Hazer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kaan Birtan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karadeniz Tecimer having to interfere. DÜZCE SK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Sarp Tatu scored to the left of an out of position Nuratay Taran, making the score, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in DÜZCE SK's zone, Ali Cengiz Bilgetürk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nuratay Taran came out of the goal and Ali Cengiz Bilgetürk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Sarp Tatu, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 28 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Nuratay Taran was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Ali Cengiz Bilgetürk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sarp Tatu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Nuratay Taran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karadeniz Tecimer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şafak Hazer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ali Cengiz Bilgetürk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Nuratay Taran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

If Sarp Tatu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 57th minute, Ali Cengiz Bilgetürk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind DÜZCE SK's goalkeeper Nuratay Taran, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Şerafettin Akçınar kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. When Kaan Birtan came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the DÜZCE SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kaan Birtan couldn't finish the play. If Kaan Birtan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute, Boran Gagauz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 74 minutes into the match, DÜZCE SK's Teoman Akbaba broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide.
