If Songurbey Ağçelik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aydemir Toköz was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Palandöken's Tuncay Uyar got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After some careless play in the Malkara SK defense, Songurbey Ağçelik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vecdi Ballı. The Malkara SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vecdi Ballı should have stopped the shot. 59 minutes into the game, Aydemir Toköz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Hayati Afşar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Songurbey Sargut fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palandöken's protests and gave Songurbey Sargut a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Palandöken's Songurbey Sargut got a free kick in the 63rd minute. When Tuncay Uyar was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 75 minutes had been played. In the 79thth minute of the game Aydemir Toköz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palandöken's Hayati Afşar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Songurbey Ağçelik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aydemir Toköz in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hayati Afşar saved Palandöken from getting behind. After 85 minutes, Sebati Zorlu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palandöken and the Malkara SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 89 played minutes Malkara SK got a freekick which was hit by Olcay Orkun Bedel. If Olcay Orkun Bedel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Malkara SK booed when Palandöken was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mete Tayyip didn't get a good kick on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Malkara SK fully deserved thier win.
