An unexpectedly hard shot by Hüseyin Cahit Sanih in the 25th minute of play forced Altay SCB's goalkeeper Alaaddin Turgut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Ahmet İlhan Ersan took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Enginsu Pamirhan to make any attempt to save it. Enginsu Pamirhan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Şemsettin Günsel in the 39th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ahmet İlhan Ersan was the one to do the kick off. Enginsu Pamirhan came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Altay SCB's Şemsettin Günsel. But to his dismay, Şemsettin Günsel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. If Şemsettin Günsel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. Alaaddin Turgut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baha Kelim, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After having played for 74 minutes, Yavuz Selim Kongar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. HaSiBe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yavuz Selim Kongar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alaaddin Turgut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baha Kelim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute, Hüseyin Cahit Sanih got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. HaSiBe's Enginsu Pamirhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet İlhan Ersan in the 83rd minute of play. In the 88th minute, Refik Öztay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
