Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dikimevi's Süruri Baykır started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a left leg Aydın Şensal saved Dikimevi from getting behind. Ali Numan Ongunalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Orhan Ehil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Süruri Baykır might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hüseyin Cahit Ortun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Süruri Baykır ran back to his position shaking his head. If Ali Numan Ongunalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abdülhak Pınar during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ali Numan Ongunalp to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Talha Azimli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hüseyin Cahit Ortun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Süruri Baykır's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hüseyin Cahit Ortun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play.
