After a rather tough play, Fenerbahçe F.C's Demir Durcan got a free kick in the 4th minute. Ragıp Akgöze recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 19 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Fenerbahçe F.C! Demir Durcan was shown his second yellow card after 24 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 25th match minute, Fenerbahçe F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Demir Durcan to maneuver through the defense. Ali Berkant Tezalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yiğit Semail having to interfere. Hayrettin Çakman struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Yiğit Semail didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fenerbahçe F.C. 34 minutes into the match, Fenerbahçe F.C's Hayrettin Çakman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yiğit Semail narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Yiğit Semail showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hayrettin Çakman, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Yiğit Semail showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hayrettin Çakman in the 45th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Fenerbahçe F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Ömür Birsoy came free, but Sergen Mengücek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ahmet Ömür Birsoy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sergen Mengücek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 50th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hayrettin Çakman to make the kick off. After 62 played minutes Fenerbahçe F.C got a freekick which was hit by Ali Berkant Tezalp. When Berkem Renan fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fenerbahçe F.C's protests and gave Berkem Renan a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Fenerbahçe F.C getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Berkem Renan hit a great ball. If Ragıp Akgöze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When avakıspor's Ragıp Akgöze in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Ömür Birsoy in the 85th minute of play forced Fenerbahçe F.C's goalkeeper Sergen Mengücek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Fenerbahçe F.C getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Berkem Renan hit a great ball. Ahmet Ömür Birsoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fenerbahçe F.C's Sergen Mengücek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ragıp Akgöze in the 92nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Ahmet Ömür Birsoy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sergen Mengücek was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game.
