Saffet Tümay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 7 minutes into the game, Ragıp Akgöze was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. avakıspor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bursaspor the free kick. After 7 played minutes avakıspor got a freekick which was hit by Ragıp Akgöze. Çağan Baler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yiğit Semail having to interfere. After 13 minutes of play, Bursaspor's Saffet Tümay made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yiğit Semail was left in no man's land by his defense there! Yiğit Semail came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Bursaspor's Saffet Tümay. But to his dismay, Saffet Tümay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Çağan Baler scored 0-3 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yiğit Semail, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Bursaspor's zone, Ahmet Ömür Birsoy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Erşahan came out of the goal and Ahmet Ömür Birsoy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mehmet Emre Okyar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mehmet Emre Okyar in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yiğit Semail prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in avakıspor's zone, Saffet Tümay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yiğit Semail came out of the goal and Saffet Tümay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yiğit Semail came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Bursaspor's Çağan Baler. But to his dismay, Çağan Baler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Arif Bilge Pekel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bursaspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Arif Bilge Pekel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yiğit Semail breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 43 minutes into the game, Bursaspor's Mehmet Emre Okyar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yiğit Semail made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. In the 46th minute, Mehmet Emre Okyar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mehmet Emre Okyar to strike the kick off in the second half. Arif Bilge Pekel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute, Çağan Baler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Arif Bilge Pekel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bursaspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Arif Bilge Pekel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yiğit Semail breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yiğit Semail made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehmet Emre Okyar in the 59th minute of play. In the 61stth minute of the game Çağan Baler who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but avakıspor's Yiğit Semail was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ahmet Erşahan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmet Ömür Birsoy's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. 64 minutes into the match, Bursaspor's goal looked a bit too open when Ragıp Akgöze came free, but Ahmet Erşahan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute, Arif Bilge Pekel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ahmet Ömür Birsoy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ahmet Erşahan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Ömür Birsoy in the 70th minute of play. Saffet Tümay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute, Çağan Baler fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Yiğit Semail made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Saffet Tümay sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Mehmet Emre Okyar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yiğit Semail was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Kuddusî Uzkan's late challenge caught a Bursaspor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kuddusî Uzkan helped the player get up and apologised. Kuddusî Uzkan hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 84th play minute Saffet Tümay came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Yiğit Semail. 0-7. When Bursaspor's Çağan Baler, in the 88th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Bursaspor. Yiğit Semail showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehmet Emre Okyar, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. When Arif Bilge Pekel came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Bursaspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arif Bilge Pekel couldn't finish the play. Ahmet Erşahan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ragıp Akgöze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
