Arda Şenalp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Semavi Özerkin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Altintas FK's Semavi Özerkin in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Real Mardin's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Altintas FK booed when Real Mardin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hasan Balbay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Agah Topçam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Müfit Tuyan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 15 minutes, Faik Yiğit managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Altintas FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Faik Yiğit was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 17th minute, Muzaffer Gülerce ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Agah Topçam was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Muzaffer Gülerce in the 20th minute of play forced Altintas FK's goalkeeper Agah Topçam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Real Mardin fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Real Mardin's Muzaffer Gülerce looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 43 minutes into the match, Altintas FK's Faik Yiğit sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arda Şenalp narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half Real Mardin were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Muzaffer Gülerce was the one to do the kick off. When Müfit Tuyan came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Real Mardin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Müfit Tuyan couldn't finish the play. 56 minutes into the match, Altintas FK's goalkeeper Agah Topçam had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nuratay Ünsi. A collision led to Real Mardin getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Nuratay Ünsi hit a great ball. After 68 played minutes Real Mardin got a freekick which was hit by Hasan Balbay. Semavi Özerkin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arda Şenalp having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Semavi Özerkin in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arda Şenalp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Real Mardin getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Şinasi Şahbaz hit a great ball. If Semavi Özerkin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Ardahan Dilan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Altintas FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ardahan Dilan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arda Şenalp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Semavi Özerkin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 84th minute Semavi Özerkin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arda Şenalp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute, Semavi Özerkin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Semavi Özerkin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Muzaffer Gülerce struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Agah Topçam didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Mardin. Müfit Tuyans short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Agah Topçam to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Arda Şenalp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faik Yiğit in the 97th minute of the match. The Real Mardin players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
