Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ulu Olgunsoy started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 6 minutes into the match, Sirnak's goal looked a bit too open when Ulu Olgunsoy came free, but Sermet Gökalp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Sirnak defense, Gürol Eskioğlu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sermet Gökalp. The Sirnak fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sermet Gökalp should have stopped the shot. If Gürol Eskioğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sermet Gökalp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gürol Eskioğlu in the 20th minute of the match. When Talat Mutluhan fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sirnak's protests and gave Talat Mutluhan a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Sirnak getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Talat Mutluhan hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the game, Demirspor's Gürol Eskioğlu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sermet Gökalp made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 27thth minute of the game Ulu Olgunsoy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sirnak's Sermet Gökalp was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sermet Gökalp didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gürol Eskioğlu went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Ahmet Baki Adalıoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Tan Hayal fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Demirspor's protests and gave Tan Hayal a yellow card for diving instead. After 37 played minutes Demirspor got a freekick which was hit by Tan Hayal. After a defensive mix-up in Demirspor's zone, Talat Mutluhan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ali Boratay came out of the goal and Talat Mutluhan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Talat Mutluhan in the 43rd minute of play forced Demirspor's goalkeeper Ali Boratay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ahmet Baki Adalıoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Talat Mutluhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Boratay having to interfere. After the first half Demirspor were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Talat Mutluhan was the one to do the kick off. Ulu Olgunsoy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Demirspor's Ulu Olgunsoy in 56 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Sermet Gökalp guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Ahmet Baki Adalıoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute, Yılmaz Akgün hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ahmet Baki Adalıoğlu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ali Boratay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd match minute, Sirnak was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atacan Eryiğit to maneuver through the defense. Ahmet Baki Adalıoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Boratay having to interfere. If Gürol Eskioğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 76 minutes, Ahmet Baki Adalıoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sirnak's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Baki Adalıoğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ulu Olgunsoy came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Demirspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulu Olgunsoy couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gürol Eskioğlu got free with Sermet Gökalp in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 84th match minute, Sirnak was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Talat Mutluhan to maneuver through the defense. Talat Mutluhan might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ali Boratay. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Talat Mutluhan ran back to his position shaking his head. Ali Boratay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sungur Taygun in the 87th minute of play. If Talat Mutluhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Baki Adalıoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Talat Mutluhan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sirnak's supporters rose to their feet, but Talat Mutluhan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ali Boratay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Sirnak manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Demirspor to win.
