The referee ignored Bayburt SK's protests and gave Mehmet Şefik Hakan a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ayas JK booed when Bayburt SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehmet Şefik Hakan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mevlüt Ekincioğlu acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 5th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ahmet Turan Ulun. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Yusuf Oksu sped through Ayas JK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Abdulkerim İlham. Mevlüt Ekincioğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Neşat Nihat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Münir Özonder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bayburt SK's Mutlu Serol got his second yellow card of the match in the 22nd minute. The referee ordered Mutlu Serol off the ground. In the 23rd match minute, Bayburt SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mutlu Serol to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kıraç Süvarioğlu during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 38 minutes of play, Ayas JK's Münir Özonder made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mevlüt Ekincioğlu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Feyyaz Üstay's late challenge caught a Ayas JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Feyyaz Üstay helped the player get up and apologised. Feyyaz Üstay hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Yusuf Oksu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdulkerim İlham having to interfere. Neşat Nihat struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Mevlüt Ekincioğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ayas JK. In the 64thth minute of the game Münir Özonder who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bayburt SK's Mevlüt Ekincioğlu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 74th minute, Neşat Nihat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Bayburt SK getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Yusuf Oksu hit a great ball. Bayburt SK's Kıraç Süvarioğlu got his second yellow card of the match in the 81st minute. The referee ordered Kıraç Süvarioğlu off the ground. After 82 played minutes Bayburt SK got a freekick which was hit by Kıraç Süvarioğlu. Mevlüt Ekincioğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Neşat Nihat, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 86 minutes into the match, Ayas JK's Münir Özonder sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mevlüt Ekincioğlu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gencay Zülfü kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Mevlüt Ekincioğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Münir Özonder in the 93rd minute of play. When Münir Özonder came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Ayas JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Münir Özonder couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Münir Özonder's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mevlüt Ekincioğlu was relentless in the 99th minute of the game. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
