Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Naci Azimoğlu started the match with the kick off. Sermet Gökalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Naci Azimoğlu in the 5th minute of play. Ahmet Baki Adalıoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Sermet Gökalp made an important save on a dangerous shot by Afşin Beycan in the 7th minute. Kastamonu's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Göksun Tükelalp in the 9th minute. Göksun Tükelalp made a great header on Kastamonu's corner, it was just that Sirnak's Sermet Gökalp managed to reach the ball for a save. If Afşin Beycan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sermet Gökalp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Naci Azimoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Afşin Beycan struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Sermet Gökalp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kastamonu. After a defensive mix-up in Sirnak's zone, Afşin Beycan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sermet Gökalp came out of the goal and Afşin Beycan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sermet Gökalp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Gökalp Yücelay in the 26th minute of the match. Afşin Beycan struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Sermet Gökalp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kastamonu. Afşin Beycan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Sermet Gökalp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Naci Azimoğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 41 played minutes Sirnak got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Baki Adalıoğlu. 45 minutes into the match, Kastamonu's Afşin Beycan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sermet Gökalp narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Talat Mutluhan made the kick off in the second half. When Afşin Beycan came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Kastamonu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Afşin Beycan couldn't finish the play. Naci Azimoğlu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sermet Gökalp read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. If Naci Azimoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Baki Adalıoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Songurbey Şerefhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Afşin Beycan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sermet Gökalp having to interfere. Sirnak's Sermet Gökalp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Naci Azimoğlu in the 77th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Afşin Beycan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sermet Gökalp was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Atacan Eryiğit hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Talat Mutluhan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sirnak's supporters rose to their feet, but Talat Mutluhan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Songurbey Şerefhan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sermet Gökalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Naci Azimoğlu in the 92nd minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Ahmet Gökalp Yücelay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Talat Mutluhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Kastamonu had won after a very even match.
