Yavuz Selim Eskioğlu hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After 10th play minutes Ahmet Ömür Yatuk shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Atalay Bülbül and just under the crossbar into goal. Mustafa Emrah Adalı stood somewhat misplaced when Umur Erginsoy came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 15 minute. After a rather tough play, Akcam FC's Yağız Kuman got a free kick in the 17th minute. After having played for 18 minutes, Çetin Talip managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galatasaray's supporters crossed their fingers, but Çetin Talip was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Akcam FC's goal looked a bit too open when Çetin Talip came free, but Atalay Bülbül reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Galatasaray's Çetin Talip got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Atalay Bülbül made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Ömür Yatuk in the 29th minute of play. If Umur Erginsoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Çetin Talip sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute Çetin Talip shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atalay Bülbül saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 1-4 became the score in the 47th minute when Ahmet Ömür Yatuk elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ahmet Ömür Yatuk was the one to do the kick off. Çetin Talip sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute, Ahmet Ömür Yatuk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Galatasaray booed when Akcam FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yağız Kuman didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Akcam FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Behçet Ongut hit a great ball. Ahmet Ömür Yatuk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Atalay Bülbül having to make a save. When Umur Erginsoy came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Akcam FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Umur Erginsoy couldn't finish the play. 79 minutes into the match, Akcam FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Ömür Yatuk came free, but Atalay Bülbül reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th match minute, Akcam FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Süreyya Erez to maneuver through the defense. Gafur Cansefa hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After taking down the ball on Galatasaray's corner Berk Kınay fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Atalay Bülbül quite easily take care of the ball. Atalay Bülbül took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Ömür Yatuk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Çetin Talip fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atalay Bülbül having to interfere. Ahmet Ömür Yatuk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ahmet Ömür Yatuk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Seyhun Özsu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Galatasaray's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
