In the 17th minute, Umur Erginsoy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sefa Rıza was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 25 minutes into the match, Cat's goal looked a bit too open when Birsel Derim came free, but Sefa Rıza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lütfü İlgi was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Akcam FC got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Emrah Uz. After having played for 52 minutes, Lütfü İlgi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lütfü İlgi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 60th minute of the match, Birsel Derim got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sefa Rıza was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Cat's zone, Birsel Derim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sefa Rıza came out of the goal and Birsel Derim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sefa Rıza made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Birsel Derim sent off a good shot on target. The attack was good, but when Umur Erginsoy in the 81st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal.
