An unexpectedly hard shot by Emir Dalan in the 4th minute of play forced Gördes's goalkeeper Ayberk Hıfzullah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 8 minutes, Kıvanç Torcan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gördes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kıvanç Torcan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emir Dalan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Ayberk Hıfzullah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 19 minutes, Işık Yerhum mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Samsun SK and the Gördes players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th match minute, Samsun SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Işık Yerhum to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the match, Gördes's Esen Çavlı sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Li Xing Ting narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ahmet Asım Tongar's late challenge caught a Gördes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ahmet Asım Tongar helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Samsun SK getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Ahmet Asım Tongar hit a great ball. Mustafa Numan Bozkurt charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mustafa Numan Bozkurt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emir Dalan to strike the kick off in the second half. Emir Dalan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Gördes getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Sadettin Gültekin hit a great ball. Li Xing Ting was a little too slow when Esen Çavlı got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 1-1. If Emir Dalan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Mustafa Numan Bozkurt was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 67 minutes had been played. Mustafa Numan Bozkurt kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Ayberk Hıfzullah showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emir Dalan in the 71st minute of the match. Kıvanç Torcan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Li Xing Ting having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Işık Yerhum put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ayberk Hıfzullah. Esen Çavlı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Li Xing Ting having to interfere. Kıvanç Torcan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Samsun SK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Gördes had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
