Hakkı Özdeğer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Merinos. Hakkı Özdeğer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baskın Hadi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ali Emir Tuncalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şenol Sabih having to interfere. Altinyayla SK's Ali Emir Tuncalp got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Karadeniz Kıvılcım got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ali Emir Tuncalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Şenol Sabih tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45thth minute of the game Baskın Hadi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Altinyayla SK's Hakkı Özdeğer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 86th match minute, Merinos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baskın Hadi to maneuver through the defense. Şemsettin Aşkın took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hakkı Özdeğer. Hakkı Özdeğer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Altinyayla SK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
