TURAN TACTIC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vacib Kutlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Şenol Sabih breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, TURAN TACTIC's Vacib Kutlu got a free kick in the 28th minute. Şemsettin Aşkın succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 29th playminute. Alpertunga Alpman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baskın Hadi, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Ahmet Haşim Candar hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vacib Kutlu made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Şemsettin Aşkın managed to get in a good position for a shot. Merinos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baskın Hadi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baskın Hadi in the 60th minute of play forced TURAN TACTIC's goalkeeper Alpertunga Alpman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baskın Hadi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd match minute, TURAN TACTIC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Behiç Saver to maneuver through the defense. After 66 minutes, Baskın Hadi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Merinos and the TURAN TACTIC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alpertunga Alpman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baskın Hadi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Baskın Hadi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vacib Kutlu was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 84th minute. TURAN TACTIC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With his leg Şenol Sabih managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when TURAN TACTIC's Nihat Tetiker fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nihat Tetiker got free with Şenol Sabih in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Merinos's zone, Vacib Kutlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Şenol Sabih came out of the goal and Vacib Kutlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baskın Hadi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Alpertunga Alpman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Merinos's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
