Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Abdurrahim Öztan took the kick off in the first half of the match. Sezgin Onal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fenerbahçe's Arif Egemen Utkan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Fenerbahçe from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Korcan Kınık's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Behlül Tandoğan was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. 14 minutes into the match, Fenerbahçe's goalkeeper Arif Egemen Utkan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sezgin Onal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gökhan Çalımbay in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Behlül Tandoğan saved Siteler from getting behind. Korcan Kınık recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Siteler booed when Fenerbahçe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arda Göksel Kargin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sezgin Onal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the game, Abdurrahim Öztan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arif Egemen Utkan. Abdurrahim Öztan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Behlül Tandoğan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gökhan Çalımbay in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Gökhan Çalımbay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Gökhan Çalımbay made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Korcan Kınık managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fenerbahçe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Korcan Kınık was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gökhan Çalımbay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdurrahim Öztan in the 69th minute of play forced Fenerbahçe's goalkeeper Arif Egemen Utkan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abdurrahim Öztan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arif Egemen Utkan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Arif Egemen Utkan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abdurrahim Öztan's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Şafak Başkaya's late challenge caught a Siteler's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Şafak Başkaya helped the player get up and apologised. After 81 played minutes Fenerbahçe got a freekick which was hit by Şafak Başkaya. Arif Egemen Utkan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdurrahim Öztan in the 87th minute of the match. In the 88th minute Sezgin Onal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arif Egemen Utkan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Sezgin Onal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ali Orhan Tigin fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fenerbahçe's protests and gave Ali Orhan Tigin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 91st minute, one of Fenerbahçe:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fenerbahçe. Korcan Kınık struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Behlül Tandoğan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fenerbahçe. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Siteler fans cheered their team off the field, for while Fenerbahçe had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
