Batıray Beysun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ali Emir Tuncalp's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Batıray Beysun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karadeniz Kıvılcım in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Hasan Ali Azimli had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. 42 minutes into the game, Tuncer Dağdelen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Altinyayla SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave mutluspor the free kick. A collision led to Altinyayla SK getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Tuncer Dağdelen hit a great ball. After having played for 47 minutes, Ali Emir Tuncalp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Altinyayla SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ali Emir Tuncalp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for İlhami Akansel to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had been going on for 58 minutes, Altinyayla SK's Atilla Bumin Koralp got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Batıray Beysun. After 60 played minutes Altinyayla SK got a freekick which was hit by Tuncer Dağdelen. Ali Emir Tuncalp received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Batıray Beysun came out and tried to block the shot, but Ali Emir Tuncalp slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 65th minute. Yüce Hatim's late challenge caught a mutluspor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yüce Hatim helped the player get up and apologised. Ali Emir Tuncalp's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Batıray Beysun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Batıray Beysun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karadeniz Kıvılcım in the 76th minute. mutluspor's Batıray Beysun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save mutluspor from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in mutluspor's zone, Ali Emir Tuncalp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Batıray Beysun came out of the goal and Ali Emir Tuncalp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ali Emir Tuncalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Batıray Beysun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karadeniz Kıvılcım struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Batıray Beysun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Altinyayla SK. Ali Emir Tuncalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Batıray Beysun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Altinyayla SK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than mutluspor throughout the match.
