The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aras Garipoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rıfat Gürçınar having to interfere. Mustafa İzzet Kutalmış struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Rıfat Gürçınar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for İmPos JK. Behçet Çolakoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Ahmet Efe Tibet took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Agah Elçioğlu. With an all-out effort, Kumkapi's Agah Elçioğlu threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ahmet Yahya Kutlar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After taking down the ball on Kumkapi's corner Tuncay Muzaffer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Agah Elçioğlu quite easily take care of the ball. In the 38th match minute, İmPos JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustafa İzzet Kutalmış to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute Mustafa İzzet Kutalmış shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rıfat Gürçınar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Ahmet Yahya Kutlar reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Agah Elçioğlu. The goal made the score 2-0. When Erberk Akgündüz fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored İmPos JK's protests and gave Erberk Akgündüz a yellow card for diving instead.

In the 49th minute when Muharrem Zorlu was dribbling his way through İmPos JK's defense he got a clear chance for a shot, but the shot went just outside the left post. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mustafa İzzet Kutalmış stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Ahmet Efe Tibet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Efe Tibet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, İmPos JK's İlker Tansu got a free kick in the 69th minute. Kumkapi's Ahmet Efe Tibet got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mustafa İzzet Kutalmış blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rıfat Gürçınar having to make a save. Kumkapi's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
