Mustafa Kemal Avcu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gencal Vedat having to make a save. Lütfullah Tuncal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Gencal Vedat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Kazım Erdemli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 97th minute by Lütfullah Tuncal got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. GÜMÜŞHANESPOR walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
