Şinasi Bilen kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Rıfkı Kadir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Bahtiyar İlsu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rıfkı Kadir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cebrail Aldemir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samim Mürsel in the 20th minute of play. Refik Halit Tecelli kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. With a little luck, Kangal's Bahtiyar İlsu got control of the ball when Şinasi Bilen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kangal's Bahtiyar İlsu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rıfkı Kadir in the 28th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Kangal's Cenap Tandoruk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cebrail Aldemir narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Şinasi Bilen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rıfkı Kadir struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rıfkı Kadir in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bahtiyar İlsu saved Kangal from getting behind. Cenap Tandoruk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 45 minutes, Samim Mürsel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kangal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samim Mürsel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rıfkı Kadir to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Kangal's zone, Rıfkı Kadir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bahtiyar İlsu came out of the goal and Rıfkı Kadir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rıfkı Kadir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bahtiyar İlsu having to interfere. Bahtiyar İlsu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rıfkı Kadir, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. A collision led to Resadiye FK getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Recep Tümkan hit a great ball. Samim Mürsel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 67 minutes into the match, Kangal's goal looked a bit too open when Şinasi Bilen came free, but Bahtiyar İlsu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cenap Tandoruk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cebrail Aldemir having to interfere. Bahtiyar İlsu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şinasi Bilen in the 83rd minute of the match. Cebrail Aldemir made an important save on a dangerous shot by Samim Mürsel in the 84th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Kangal's zone, Şinasi Bilen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bahtiyar İlsu came out of the goal and Şinasi Bilen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Resadiye FK booed when Kangal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cuma Tuğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Şinasi Bilen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bahtiyar İlsu having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rıfkı Kadir in the 90th minute of play forced Kangal's goalkeeper Bahtiyar İlsu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Nuratay Buğdaycı had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cebrail Aldemir. Resadiye FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nuratay Buğdaycı was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Kangal eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
