The throw-in from Bünyamin Hüdayioğlu in the 17th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Geliboluspor's Kasım Cansun. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Bedih Yaman sped through Veliköyspor FK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aktaç Ünaldi. A collision led to Veliköyspor FK getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Halit Ziya Baykır hit a great ball. The supporters of Geliboluspor booed when Veliköyspor FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Batur Durukan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th match minute, Veliköyspor FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Utku Baba to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bünyamin Hüdayioğlu during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Geliboluspor booed when Veliköyspor FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bünyamin Hüdayioğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 64 minutes, Kutlu Ilgaz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Veliköyspor FK and the Geliboluspor players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lütfullah Gencal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Affan Canver read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. When Hamdullah Uluman fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Geliboluspor's protests and gave Hamdullah Uluman a yellow card for diving instead. Eralp Dahi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aktaç Ünaldi having to interfere. In the 86thth minute of the game Lütfullah Gencal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Geliboluspor's Affan Canver was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 88th minute, Lütfullah Gencal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Veliköyspor FK's Aktaç Ünaldi got control of the ball when Bedih Yaman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Geliboluspor's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
