In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind NEWROZ's goalkeeper Özal Öveç, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 20th minute Aktan Bozbora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Özal Öveç saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tansel Eryetiş charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tansel Eryetiş the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, NEWROZ's Tansel Eryetiş got a free kick in the 20th minute. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Tahsin Ekşioğlu sped through Aksaray's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Yiğit Can Akgül. Bülent Mirac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to NEWROZ getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Adem Ergalip hit a great ball. After having played for 31 minutes, Bülent Mirac managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aksaray's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bülent Mirac was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alifonso Daire fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yiğit Can Akgül having to interfere. The supporters of Aksaray booed when NEWROZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tansel Eryetiş didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bülent Mirac to make the kick off. Egídio Vilalobos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yiğit Can Akgül having to make a save. If Tahsin Ekşioğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Yiğit Can Akgül made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alifonso Daire in the 60th minute of play. Devlet Tokcan struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Özal Öveç didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aksaray. Yiğit Can Akgül showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tahsin Ekşioğlu in the 67th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, NEWROZ's Alifonso Daire sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yiğit Can Akgül narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 71 minutes into the match, Tahsin Ekşioğlu notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Aksaray's Yiğit Can Akgül. Yiğit Can Akgül was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Oğuzhan Parshan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yiğit Can Akgül having to make a save. In the 80th minute, NEWROZ's Ahmet Gündüz Tezer seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ahmet Gündüz Tezer the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of NEWROZ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ahmet Gündüz Tezer had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 79th minute of the game. One of NEWROZ:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Aksaray:s goal. The goalkeeper, Özal Öveç, was totally fooled by Aksaray's Edip Saygın, who 82 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 88th minute, Alifonso Daire ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yiğit Can Akgül was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Tahsin Ekşioğlu struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Yiğit Can Akgül didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NEWROZ. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aktan Bozbora during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aksaray's Yiğit Can Akgül played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tahsin Ekşioğlu in the 98th minute of play. NEWROZ walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
