Mithat Tümkut might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baha Gaza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bahcekapi JK's Songurhan Duman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Bahcekapi JK from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Korkut Dirican in the 35th minute of play forced Bucak's goalkeeper Baha Gaza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baha Gaza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Korkut Dirican in the 39th minute of play. Kemal Selçuk hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. The supporters of Bahcekapi JK booed when Bucak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Özgür Semir didn't get a good kick on the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Bahcekapi JK's goal looked a bit too open when Kemal Selçuk came free, but Songurhan Duman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Tayfur Öveç fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bucak's protests and gave Tayfur Öveç a yellow card for diving instead.
