Spectators: 7299 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1699, VIP seats: 100) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rıdvan Ülgen got the match started through his kick off. Çelebi Balkoç was out of position in the 3 minute of play, and Taner Hürsel capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Taner Hürsel really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 6th match minute, Derbent was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Muhittin Ataner to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Palu's Çelebi Balkoç threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Taner Hürsel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Yavuzalp Tublek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Palu's Taner Hürsel dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. 31 minutes into the game, Yavuzalp Tublek recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Çelebi Balkoç. Yavuzalp Tublek showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Hüsamettin Suheyl struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Çelebi Balkoç didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palu. In the 35th minute, Derbent's Serhan Ruhsan seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Serhan Ruhsan the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Derbent protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Serhan Ruhsan had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. An unexpectedly hard shot by Çağdaş Kurtaran in the 37th minute of play forced Derbent's goalkeeper Çelebi Balkoç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Muhittin Ataner's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Güvenç Geçer was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Muhittin Ataner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44th match minute, Derbent was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orhan Taze to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute Muhittin Ataner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Güvenç Geçer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yavuzalp Tublek to strike the kick off in the second half. Rıdvan Ülgen hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Derbent's zone, Hüsamettin Suheyl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Çelebi Balkoç came out of the goal and Hüsamettin Suheyl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Çelebi Balkoç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Taner Hürsel, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. A hard, long distance shot from Muhittin Ataner flew over the goal. In the 64th minute Yavuzalp Tublek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Çelebi Balkoç saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Muhittin Ataner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Muhittin Ataner got free with Güvenç Geçer in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Derbent's Muhittin Ataner got a free kick in the 78th minute. Muhittin Ataner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Özkan Vecdi kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Palu's zone, Ertan Tükelay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Güvenç Geçer came out of the goal and Ertan Tükelay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Birkan Atatuğ hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute there was a penalty for Derbent. Ertan Tükelay stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Güvenç Geçer. 3-1. In the 99th minute, Yavuzalp Tublek made a precise shot to the right of Çelebi Balkoç. Derbent's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. When the referee ended the match the Palu players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
