Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Sait Yaltırak made the kick off which started today's match. If Sait Yaltırak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Muhittin Ataner's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Garip Gündoğan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Çelebi Balkoç didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 17th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sait Yaltırak in the 20th minute of play forced Derbent's goalkeeper Çelebi Balkoç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Espiye booed when Derbent was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sungurbey Demiralp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Derbent's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Sait Yaltırak scored to the left of an out of position Çelebi Balkoç, making the score, 2-0. Görkem Turkay kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Naim Koçaslan struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Çelebi Balkoç didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Espiye. 48 minutes into the match, Espiye's Naim Koçaslan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Çelebi Balkoç narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rıdvan Ülgen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Sait Yaltırak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Espiye's supporters rose to their feet, but Sait Yaltırak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Çelebi Balkoç breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Naim Koçaslan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th minute, Sait Yaltırak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 55 played minutes Espiye got a freekick which was hit by Sermet Gökekin. When Muhittin Ataner came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Derbent fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Muhittin Ataner couldn't finish the play. In the 64th minute Naim Koçaslan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Çelebi Balkoç saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Çelebi Balkoç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sait Yaltırak, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Derbent's Rıdvan Ülgen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Garip Gündoğan. That made the score 3-1 after 70 minutes of play. Çelebi Balkoç made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Naim Koçaslan in the 76th minute of play. Orhan Taze hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Naim Koçaslan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Espiye's Garip Gündoğan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Espiye from getting a goal against them. Espiye's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
