In the 11th minute, Vacid Hitit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmet Arif Savni in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zafer Aktekin saved EsenkıyıFK from getting behind. Basri Şahvar hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. If Necmettin Seylan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alparslan İsfendiyar in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Zafer Aktekin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ahmet Arif Savni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in EsenkıyıFK's zone, Alparslan İsfendiyar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zafer Aktekin came out of the goal and Alparslan İsfendiyar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alparslan İsfendiyar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zafer Aktekin having to interfere. Alsancak SK's Besim Baykara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeynel Baykoca in the 31st minute of play. Zeynel Baykoca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tuncay Toktahan kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 44th match minute, Alsancak SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basri Şahvar to maneuver through the defense. Zeynel Baykoca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Besim Baykara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, EsenkıyıFK's Zafer Aktekin got control of the ball when Ahmet Arif Savni tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ahmet Arif Savni to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Ahmet Necdet Kanat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Arif Savni in the 54th minute of play forced EsenkıyıFK's goalkeeper Zafer Aktekin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zeynel Baykoca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Besim Baykara made a huge save. In the 56th match minute, Alsancak SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basri Şahvar to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the match, EsenkıyıFK's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Arif Savni came free, but Zafer Aktekin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ahmet Necdet Kanat showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Alparslan İsfendiyar scored 2-2 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zafer Aktekin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When EsenkıyıFK's Necmettin Seylan in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
