Erciyes Spor's Levent Şanver proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Erciyes Spor from getting a goal against them. Hüsrev Bürgehan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Ergin Doğanten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ergin Doğanten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zülfü Şahinhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hüsrev Bürgehan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ergin Doğanten having to interfere. Hüsrev Bürgehan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Ergin Doğanten made a huge save. In the 80th minute, Zülfü Şahinhan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dinç Yeğrek kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the game, Nakkastepe SK's Gazi Irak nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Levent Şanver made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Erciyes Spor's Levent Şanver played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ünal Uğurlu in the 91st minute of play. Hüsrev Bürgehan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ergin Doğanten having to interfere. The Erciyes Spor supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Erciyes Spor would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
