Mehmet Hamdi Tanın didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ünal Uğurlu went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ünal Uğurlu got free with Mehmet Hamdi Tanın in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gazi Irak in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mehmet Hamdi Tanın prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With an all-out effort, Nakkastepe SK's Mehmet Hamdi Tanın threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tolga Enginsoy, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 23rd minute, Hemsin SK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ünal Uğurlu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 26thth minute of the game Arif Gaffar Tulunay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nakkastepe SK's Ergin Doğanten was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hemsin SK's Mehmet Hamdi Tanın proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Hemsin SK from getting a goal against them. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gökcan Civanmert was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Hemsin SK's zone, Gazi Irak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mehmet Hamdi Tanın came out of the goal and Gazi Irak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 54thth minute of the game Ünal Uğurlu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hemsin SK's Mehmet Hamdi Tanın was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 58th minute Gökcan Civanmert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ergin Doğanten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Nakkastepe SK fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when Nakkastepe SK's Gazi Irak looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mehmet Hamdi Tanın showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gazi Irak in the 64th minute of the match. Ergin Doğanten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gökcan Civanmert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gazi Irak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute Ünal Uğurlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Hamdi Tanın saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arif Gaffar Tulunay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gazi Irak in the 87th minute of play forced Hemsin SK's goalkeeper Mehmet Hamdi Tanın to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 3-3 became the score in the 90th minute when Gazi Irak elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Mehmet Hamdi Tanın made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ünal Uğurlu in the 96th minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
