When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Arda Kortan put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Hakkı Kenan Derem. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arda Kortan to strike the kick off in the second half. When Arda Kortan fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RizeÇayeliSpor's protests and gave Arda Kortan a yellow card for diving instead. Hakkı Kenan Derem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bilgehan Tutuş in the 83rd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, RizeÇayeliSpor's goalkeeper Orhan Veli Soysaltürk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cemalettin Onat. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Bilgehan Tutuş managed to get in a good position for a shot. Orhan Veli Soysaltürk came out of the goal and Gökhun Attaroğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arda Kortan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. RizeÇayeliSpor's Buğrahan Bülbül got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
