Abdullah Serdaroğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Belmiro Catarinense having to interfere. 0-3 became the score in the 29th minute when Şaban Aktaşlıoğlu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erman Tunçkol during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erkut Torkal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 61st minute, Şaban Aktaşlıoğlu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Erkut Torkal. The goal made the score 0-9.
