DOĞAN SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nurettin Özerdim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Müjdat Yaban in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nizam Sunullah saved DOĞAN SK from getting behind. In the 10th minute, Nurettin Özerdim made a precise shot to the right of Fuat Birsen. Yamanlar SK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 13 minutes into the game, Yamanlar SK's Bozkurt Garip nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nizam Sunullah made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 16 played minutes DOĞAN SK got a freekick which was hit by Mahsun Bicanoğlu. Bozkurt Garip's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nizam Sunullah firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to DOĞAN SK getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Derman Tancan hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bozkurt Garip got free with Nizam Sunullah in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Yamanlar SK booed when DOĞAN SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Hasan Helvacı didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bozkurt Garip could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Nizam Sunullah made a huge save. The referee felt a red card was in order, 25 minutes into the game, when Koray Geçim put in a rough tackle. In the 27th minute there was a penalty for Yamanlar SK. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nurettin Özerdim in the 34th minute of play forced Yamanlar SK's goalkeeper Fuat Birsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mahsun Bicanoğlu hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Nizam Sunullah successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Müjdat Yaban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nizam Sunullah having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Yamanlar SK's zone, Nurettin Özerdim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fuat Birsen came out of the goal and Nurettin Özerdim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nurettin Özerdim to make the kick off. Nizam Sunullah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Altan Çetiner in the 52nd minute of play. Nizam Sunullah took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Altan Çetiner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 57 played minutes, Yamanlar SK's Gökhun Ataergin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nizam Sunullah came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Yamanlar SK reached it. In the 58th minute Bozkurt Garip shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nizam Sunullah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the DOĞAN SK defense, Erkin Şafakgün kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nizam Sunullah. The DOĞAN SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nizam Sunullah should have stopped the shot.
