He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in gazera reached it. gazera's Suphi Dalga managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Tacettin Tanır in the 39 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuratay Sidal in the 41st minute of play forced gazera's goalkeeper Fuat Dilsuz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 46 played minutes Beşiktaş Jimnastik Klubü got a freekick which was hit by Muharrem Orus. In the 47th minute of the match Polat Aydıntan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Önder İlbaşı skillfully saved the ball.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nuratay Sidal to make the kick off. When Vahdet Turkay came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Beşiktaş Jimnastik Klubü fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vahdet Turkay couldn't finish the play.
