Karpuzlu's Erbatur Kutan got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Derya Taştan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baturay Özluer having to interfere. Cenan Adahan might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baturay Özluer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cenan Adahan ran back to his position shaking his head. Karpuzlu's Baturay Özluer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cenan Adahan in the 25th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Karpuzlu's goal looked a bit too open when Cenan Adahan came free, but Baturay Özluer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute, Abay Timuroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tan Oyanalp kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th minute of the match Abbas Sanat shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kubat İncel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 31st minute, Erol Can left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Karpuzlu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Erol Can succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 37th playminute. If Erbatur Kutan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erol Can's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kubat İncel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Erol Can sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Bahcekapi JK's Kubat İncel got control of the ball when Erol Can tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erbatur Kutan to make the kick off. If Cenan Adahan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Refik Atik struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Baturay Özluer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bahcekapi JK. The supporters of Karpuzlu booed when Bahcekapi JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tan Oyanalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kubat İncel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erbatur Kutan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Refik Atik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bahcekapi JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Refik Atik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baturay Özluer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Refik Atik fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bahcekapi JK's protests and gave Refik Atik a yellow card for diving instead. In the 75th minute, Refik Atik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Refik Atik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Karpuzlu's zone, Cenan Adahan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baturay Özluer came out of the goal and Cenan Adahan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erol Can in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kubat İncel saved Bahcekapi JK from getting behind. Kubat İncel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erbatur Kutan in the 85th minute of the match. Abuzer Yücelay kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abbas Sanat during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Karpuzlu's Abbas Sanat got a free kick in the 93rd minute. If Refik Atik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Refik Atik got free with Baturay Özluer in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Karpuzlu support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
